Games use different formulas to calculate EXP needed per level. Common types are linear (fixed increase), polynomial (exponential growth), and stepped (tier-based jumps).

Divide total EXP needed by EXP per hour (from killing mobs, quests, etc). This calculator does that math and shows time in hours/days.

EXP efficiency measures how much experience you gain relative to time or effort. Higher level mobs may give more EXP but take longer to kill.

Linear curves add a fixed amount each level (100, 150, 200...). Polynomial curves grow exponentially (100, 200, 400, 800...). Polynomial makes later levels significantly harder.

Track your EXP for 30-60 minutes of grinding/questing. Divide EXP gained by hours. For more accuracy, test multiple sessions and average them. Factor in breaks and downtime.
