Creole (WikiCreole) is a standardized wiki markup language created in 2007 to unify wiki syntax across different platforms. It uses simple, consistent syntax like **bold**, //italic//, [[links]], and = headings = that works across multiple wiki engines including DokuWiki, MoinMoin, and others.
