HSL stands for Hue (0-360°), Saturation (0-100%), and Lightness (0-100%). It's an intuitive color model where H selects the color, S controls vibrancy, and L controls brightness.

HEX is a 6-character code representing RGB values in hexadecimal. For example, #FF0000 is pure red (255 red, 0 green, 0 blue). 8-digit HEX (#RRGGBBAA) adds alpha transparency.
